Some of my work
Here are some of my work made during past 5-6 years. Some of them are for clients and some are made just for fun!
Scandinavian Society for Iranian Studies, 2010
I recreated the bird "Simorgh" as a logo for SSIS during September 2010.
The SSIS logo depicts the fabulous bird Simorgh (Middle Persian: Sēnmurw) of Zoroastrian mythology. It is based on a gilded Sassanid silver plate illustration which today is displayed by the British Museum. In the Iranian national epic, The Book of Kings (Shāhnāme) by Ferdousi, the Simorgh appears instructing Zal upon how to perform a cesarean section thus saving his wife Rudabe and their child, who became one of the greatest Persian heroes, Rostam.
